Mahia Jarjara ماهية محمد عمر جرجرة founder of the first feminist magazine in Yemen and Arabian Penninsula titled “Fatat Shimsan” in 1960.

The first issue of the magazine proclaims that:
وعمر الصحافة في العالم لا يتجاوز نصف القرن فقبل ذل
